Established in 2009, Chessammo started as a side business venture that was part of a small machine shop in Northern California. And like most other companies in this economy, we were looking for any way to help our business keep its head above water.
As avid chess players and outdoorsmen, we decided to combine a bit of both worlds by creating chess sets that mimic real ammunition cartridges. Not only did we find this amusing, but our close friends did too and thought it was a great idea to make available to the general public… hence, Chessammo.com
